[NEWS] Jennifer Joins Vital Proteins as their NEW! Chief Creative Officer

It's official! Jennifer Aniston is joining Vital Proteins team as Chief Creative Officer! For those of you who aren't familiar with Vital Proteins is a company that makes collagen based products. Some of you may be wondering... What is collagen exactly? For the uninitiated, collagen is the body's most abundant protein and helps to support hair, skin, nail, bone and joint health. When it comes to healthy, plumper skin, in particular, it's crucial.

If you don't take our word for it here's what Sapna Palep, M.D., a dermatologist at Spring Street Dermatology in New York City had to say. "Collagen is a protein that makes up 70 to 80% of the skin. It plays an important role in strengthening the skin, and also helps with elasticity and hydration."

In this new role, the award-winning actress will help to bring Vital Protens' mission ⏤ empowering others to find wellness from within ⏤ to the world. Aniston will do so by providing her own unique spin on new product innovations and brand strategy, and by sharing her personal experience using Vital Proteins' collagen products. "Collagen is the glue that holds everything together. I've always been an advocate for nourishing your wellness from within, which is why I started using Vital Proteins so many years ago," Aniston tells us. "Now to have the opportunity to be party of the brand in a bigger way, as Chief Creative Officer, is very exciting to me."

Aniston has been using Vital Proteins since before 2016 ⏤ well before their Instagram famous blue tub became a fixture on social feeds everywhere. She incorporates Vital Proteins products to stay on track with her wellness goals, and has also noticed a glow from within and an improvement in how she loos and feels since adding collagen to her daily routine. "We've all watched Jen live a life that prioritizes wellness from the inside-out, which she attributes in part to her belief in Vital Proteins, making this partnership so unique and, more importantly, authentic," says Kurt Seidensticker, Founder and CEO of Vital Proteins. "We are teaming up together to inspire the world to live healthy, and more vibrant lives."

Collagen is the body's most abundant protein and helps to support hair, skin, nail, bone and joint health. As we grow older, however, our body's natural collagen production begins to decline. External factors also slow the production of our body's natural ability to produce collage ⏤ exposure to sun, smoking, stress ⏤ and less collagen equals more wrinkles, dryness, and sagging. That's where Vital Protein comes in. Living a fuller, more vibrant life should be easy, which is why transparency, quality ingredients and clean labels are always a priority. Every product in their collection is held to high standards so anyone and everyone can feel good about elevating their wellness routine with every scoop, sip or bite. "Our strength starts from within, so I choose good nutrition and the right supplements to start off my day," says Aniston, adding: "My go-to collagen routine is adding Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides in my morning cup of coffee or smoothie ⏤ so easy to use."

To keep up the momentum surrounding this global partnership, they're launching a new campaign starring their newly minted Chief Creative Officer, which is set to premiere in December across broadcast, social media and digital streaming. Directed by Josh and Xander, the video provides a day-in-the-life look at how Aniston adds collagen to her daily routine. Some of her favorite products include Collagen Peptides (unflavored), Vital Proteins Immune Booster, Collagen Creamer, and Vital Collagen Water Strawberry Lemon. So, while collagen certainly can' replace a good SPF (or the importance of keeping stress under control for that matter), when you're thinking about you're 2021 wellness routine, collagen is certainly worth giving a try ⏤ if not for your skin, then for your overall health. And with Jen's stamp of approval, we have a feeling this stuff will be flying off the shelves.

[NEWS] "The Morning Show" Renewed for a Second Season

After an attention-grabbing season 1 debut on AppleTV+, The Morning Show is coming back for a second installment. The series garnered accolade recognition for stars Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, with Aniston winning the Screen Actors Guild award. The show also received eight Emmy nominations. But the wait for season 2 continues, as the series has taken an indefinite hiatus from filming due to COVID-19 concerns.

Producer Michael Ellenberg announced production for the second season shutdown due to COVID-19
Producer Michael Ellenberg, founder and CEO of MediaRes, said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter in mid-March, "In concert with our dedicated partners at Apple, we have concluded it would be prudent to take a two-week hiatus to assess the situation and ensure the safety of the incredible people who make this show." The show has not resumed filming yet.

Showrunner Kerry Ehrin confirmed they were in the process of writing the second season
A week after the show initially debuted, Apple confirmed that The Morning Show would return for a second season. Just as in the first season premiered in November 2019,  showrunner Kerry Ehrin told Variety, "We're writing the show now; we'll film it this summer; and we'll be on next November." However, the outlet clarified that sources close to the show told them no official premiere date for the second season was set.

Congratulations! to Jennifer for winning the SAG Award for The Morning Show
In the aftermath of an explosive first season finale, Ehrin told The Hollywood Reporter, "It's like a huge building fell on everybody and it's about escaping from the wreckage." When what the second season will bring Ehrin said, "I would say season two is a lot about transition. And still, at the same time, a lot of the same shit goes one! You set new rules, but then it falls back. This is true in the real world. Where it becomes: are we paying lip service to women's rights? So it's really just examining the transition period more but with the same themes of: What is real? And people having this desire to have control over their own lives, which they perceive as being through power."

How many of the original cast members will return for Season 2?
Currently, the only confirmed cast members set to return are Aniston, Witherspoon, and Billy Crudup, who played news boss Cory Ellison. Ehrin told The Hollywood Reporter that the dynamic between the two leading women will be analyzed further in the sophomore season. "The interesting thing about the characters of Alex and Bradley is that they still barely know each other. They've know each other for like, three months of working together. If you work with someone for three months, you don't know them super well. They've gone through two really traumatic experiences together, which has sort of forged their souls in a way. But they still don't really know each other as people, so we're playing some of that in the next season."
