[COUNTDOWN] Actors and Actresses Who've Played Strippers

Once you take on the job of being an actor your list of roles are an endless possibility: If you're pretending to be foreign you use an accent, if you're pretending to be someone else sometimes you wear a disguise such as a wig or costume, if you're doing a nude scene sometimes you appear nude, and if you're pretending to be a stripper...sometimes you take off your cloths. Here are a list of the brave actors and actresses who've stripped down and bared all on the screen, buns and all.

We're the Millers (2013)
Jennifer Aniston (Rose O'Reilly)
Mom jeans be gone! She's a stripper pretending to be a mom, but while posing as a pot dealer's wife, Rose uses her pole dancing skills to get out of a precarious situation. The role earned the actress several nomination including an MTV Movie nomination for Best Shirtless Performance.

Magic Mike XXL (2015)
Channing Tatum (Magic Mike)
Picking up three years after the original Magic Mike danced on screen, Mike and his stripper pals (including actor Joe Manganiello and Matt Bomer) head on a road trip to a stripper convention in Myrtle Beach, more gyrating, more magic.

Magic Mike (2012)
Matthew McConaughey (Dallas)
It may have been Channing Tatum's movie, but the alpha-male at the Xquisite Strip Club is Dallas, the stripper-turned-entrepreneur who aims to build an empire upon the throbbing muscles of his pretty-young workforce. Dallas has seen it all and knows exactly what his female clientele wants - something McConaughey could certainly relate to.

The Wrestler (2008)
Marisa Tomei (Cassidy)
Her performance haunted the Academy members enough to land her a nomination in the Best Supporting Actress of the Year category at the 81st Annual Academy awards in 2009. Perhaps one of the saddest strippers to ever step up to the pole, Tomei's character looked like she needed a hug. Instead she got Mickey Rourke and a wad of crumpled singles, but her performance paid off.

Grindhouse (2007)
Rose McGowan (Cherry Darling)
This Texas go-go dancer is one tough chick. In the "Planet Terror" segment of Grindhouse, Cherry makes the best of things after losing a limb in a freak accident. With only one leg, McGowan's character manages to make a pretty sexy pole dancer.

Sin City (2005)
Jessica Alba (Nancy Callahan)
Nancy's a stripper with a heart of gold, surrounded by murderers, perverts, and various other psychopaths, but still manages to bare all, look sexy, and have fun while doing so.

Friends (2004)
Danny DeVito (Roy the Stripper)
You really expect us not to add Friends on the list? Anyhow, if this guy showed up at your bachelorette party, like he did at Phoebe's season 10 episode "The One Where the Stripper Cries", chances are you'd get jiggy with him too! After forgetting to hire entertainment for her party Rachel thumbs through the phone book and finds Roy, but Phoebe makes him cry after ridiculing him for being well - short, old, unflattering, and NOT sexy, etc. This causes Roy to cry, but Phoebe has a change of heart allowing him to do the thing he loves most one more time before throwing in the towel.

Closer (2004)
Natalie Portman (Alice)
She spent more time trading intellectual insults with actor Clive Owen's character than shaking her moneymaker, but no matter: Oscar voters were convinced and Portman earned Best Supporting Actress of the Year at the 77th Annual Academy awards. Thanks to Alice we also know what the most fun a girl can have without taking off her cloths is: "Lying, but it's better if do (take off your cloths)".

Dancing at the Blue Iguana (2001)
Darryl Hannah (Angel)
One of several hard-luck gals baring all at the title club, Hannah's character Angel yearns to adopt a child. Unfortunately, looking incredibly ripped at age 40 doesn't seem to impress the adoption agency or moviegoers much.

The Full Monty (1997)
Lomper and Dave (Steve Huison and Mark Addy)
Talk about underdogs. Six out-of-work, out-of-shape, and down-on-their-luck blue collar Brits finally make good when they perform an impressively agile striptease in front of a packed house. Our only complaint? Moviegoers only get to see the full monty from the backside.

Striptease (1996)
Demi Moore (Erin Grant)
Oh, the woe of the single mother. Moore's character Erin Grant is a stripper as well as single mom who gets dragged into a dangerous situation after a congressman takes a fancy to her. She struggles for money so Grant takes on the job of being a dancer at a nightclub.

Showgirls (1995)
Elizabeth Berkley (Nomi Malone)
Nomi doesn't just twirl on the pole - she licks it, and humps it. In perhaps one of the most mixed reviewed roles Berkley's performance has been labeled as both forgettable and memorable - she received a Worst Actress nomination at the Golden Raspberry awards, and mocked in pop culture - by Family Guy episode "The Blind Side" where Stewie Griffin takes credit for choreographing the film's iconic dances steps.

Saturday Night LIVE! (1990)
Chris Farley (Wannabe Chippendale)
Who can forget the memorable comedy sketch of the late great comic Chris Farley opposite actor Patrick Swayze respectively. The two performed as wannabe Chippendale's dancers - whereas Swayze had the body - Farley provided the laughs, but deserves an A+ for effort (and some dolla, dolla bills, y'all).

Flashdance (1983)
Jennifer Beals (Alex Owens)
Welder by day, exotic dancer by night, Beals is mesmerizing all day long. Her water-soaked chair dance is one of the most stunning - not to mention memorable - stripteases captured on film. It had such an impact on culture that 19 years later it inspired singer/actress Jennifer Lopez to pay tribute to the film in her music video "I'm Glad".
