[NEWS] Jennifer Shoots Down "Friends" Reunion
(2015) Must See TV: A Tribute to James Burrows - Friends |
"In a recent interview with The Huffington Post Jennifer shot down any hopes of a 'Friends' reunion, but not because of lack of interest in reuniting with her old co-stars. She says, "We were jokingly saying that if 'Friends' was created today you would have a coffee shop full of people that were just starring into iPhones," she told The Huffington Post. "There would be NO actual episodes or conversations," she continued adding, "people are too into their phones to have a proper conversation nowadays." Aniston even admitted she sometimes lets technology take over her and it can even stop her from sleeping. "If I think back before devices, I'm trying to think first, which came first, my bad sleeping habits or a device? I honestly think I used to sleep beautifully and I don't think I attributed to the fact that these phones came into our lives that have actually started to disrupt our sleep." In fact the only time the cast - including former 'Friends' co-stars actress Courteney Cox, actress/comedienne Lisa Kudrow, and actors Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer - attended a television special in 2016 honoring director James Burrows, who directed several episodes of 'Friends'. The only member of the original six that didn't attend - actor/comedian Matthew Perry, who had prior commitments to do a play 'The End of Longing' in London - but he did introduce the other five via video. The reality of it is - the former 'Friends' stars are all just busy with their careers and personal lives to try and work around their hectic schedules to try and pull something like that together."

Years later, the tables have turned - and it's Brad who's pouring his heart out on his sleeve to GQ Men's magazine regarding his divorce from his second wife actress/director Angelina Jolie. Pitt admitted, "I can't remember a day since I got out of college when I wasn't boozing [drinking] or had a spliff [marijuana cigarette], or something. I stopped everything except boozing when I started my family. I'm really, really happy to be done with that [drinking and smoking pot]."

[NEWS] Jennifer's Ultherapy Facial Treatment Puts Her at Risk of Aging Quicker
article by: Joani Walsh
DAILYMAIL.com
"We're teaming up with DailyMail.com reporter Joani Walsh who recently reported on Jennifer's beauty regimens, which includes the use of Ultheray. For those who are unaware of what this is - Ultherapy is a non-invasive procedure administered by a device that emits 'microfocused ultrasound', similar to that used in scans on pregnant women - has the effect of lifting and tightening skin and is offered by cosmetic doctors in the United Kingdom. With that being said - it's not hard to see the appeal: a taut, firmer jawline, younger-looking eyes and lifted, youthful cheeks - and all without the need for a single injection, let alone going under the surgeon's scalpel. However, DailyMail's investigation has uncovered concerns among doctors about complications that may arise afterwards, and a number of cases in which patients who receive Ultherapy treatments have claimed the process has left them looking older. A leading cosmetic doctor claimed in a recent statement, "The treatment may speed up the aging process." Makers Ulthera, who are owned by German pharmaceutical giant Merz, are now facing a number of lawsuits from unhappy patients. [It is currently unknown if Jennifer is associated with any of these "aging claims" or involved in the lawsuits taking place.] It is alleged that patients have been left with hollowed cheeks and eyes, the loss of facial volume, and slackening and thinning skin - a result of undergoing the Ultherapy treatment. In legal papers, lawyers claimed in a statement, "When used [Ultherapy] on the face, the treatment resulted in 'severe and permanent physical injuries' and there is a risk of 'fat loss, deformity, eye damage' and 'nerve damage'."
However, all allegations have recently been denied by Merz. Florida-based surgeon Dr. Thomas Tzikas [who doesn't not treat Jennifer] told DailyMail, "I have seen eight patients who allege complications after having used Ultherapy treatment, and some required surgery to fix the problems. These women, who are in their 40's, tell me their skin is much looser and more pliable than before treatment. They can stretch and pull their skin, whereas the year before undergoing Ultherapy treatment their skin was taut and seemed to have a lot more resistance, and there is loss of volume. It's devastating, because it's like a speeding up of the ageing process. And it appears to be irreversible." When Dr. Tzikas was asked to comment on some women's satisfactory while others suffer from complications he said, "These women are all similar in age, usually in their late 40's and early 50's." Jennifer is in her late 40s - (she's 48), and apparently been receiving these Ultherapy treatments for 8-years since the launch in 2009, and more than 80,000 Ultherapy treatments have been performed worldwide, with 40,000 of them in Britan, according to Merz. It has been prove effective and safe in numerous studies. According to data, patients may suffer from 'brief discomfort' during the procedure, and adverse side effects are listed as: 'transient erythema [redness], edema [swelling], and occasional bruising'. Uncommon side effects include: 'muscle weakness, transient numbness and weals - areas of raised, red skin - which, a review, 'appear to be due to poor treatment technique.' Ultherapy has been cleared by the US medical watchdog FDA (also know as the Food and Drug Administration) for use in specific areas of the face including: brow, under the chin, the neck and decolletage (which is where Aniston receives treatments). But many of the patients Dr. Tzikas has seen - some of those taking legal action - claim, "We were given treatment on the cheeks and around the checkbone area." So, is the Ultherapy treatment being wrongly administrated? If so, is that the reason for the devastating effects?"

[NEWS] Legal Dispute Between Jennifer's Mother's Will
We did some fact checks before posting this exclusive report by Life & Style magazine regarding a legal dispute over Jennifer's late mother's, former model/actress Nancy Dow's, will. According to Life & Style magazine things are quote - "getting ugly!" Dow's certificate of death shows she reportedly died May 25, 2016. However, there's only recently been a disagreement regarding Nancy's will. Apparently Life & Style magazine has obtained exclusive legal court documents that reveal Jennifer's maternal half-brother John, is now taking his own daughter, Eilish Melick, Jennifer's niece, to court over her grandmother's will.
Here's the breakdown regarding Nancy's will: Documents obtained from the Superior Court of the Sate of California County of Los Angeles, Central District show that the Nancy E. Aniston revocable trust originally dated October 9, 2003, as restated was signed by her son John T. Mellick as the Contestant, and her granddaughter Eilish K. Mellick as the Trustee and Respondent. In Nancy's original will it stated the following: "Beneficiaries of the Trust were listed under the 2011 Restated Trust (Exhibit D), which Petitioner contends is the sole, operative document, the Trust beneficiaries are as follows: $100,000 was to be inherited by Nancy's son John T. Mellick; $100,000 was to be inherited by her grandson John T. Mellick, Jr. who was listed as a minor under the petitioner (in this case his father John); $25,000 was to be distributed to Nancy's favorite charity, The Christian Community; and residue and remainder in Trust to Nancy's granddaughter Eilish K. Mellick until she reaches the age of 21.
Nancy's daughter Jennifer was not listed on the petition, but mentioned and stated as the following: "Not an interested party to this matter", which would explain her non involvement in this legal dispute. In 2015 a second draft of Nancy's will was made unbeknownst to John thus drastically changing the distribution of his late mother's Trust. The will now states that under the Contested 2015 Amendment (Exhibit C), the distribution of assets were changed to the following: Nancy's son, John T. Mellick has effectively been eliminated from the will thereby disinheriting him from the $100,000; Nancy's grandson John Melick, Jr.'s inheritance is now reduced from the original amount of $100,000 to $40,000; Nancy's favorite charity The Christian Community is also effectively eliminated thereby disinheriting them from $25,000; and Nancy's granddaughter Eilish K. Mellick, listed as the rest, residue and remainder to inherit until she reaches 21-years of age did not change.
Frustrated by this, John, listed as the Petitioner, sought out a Court order invalidating a July 8, 2015 Amendment to the Trust (Exhibit C; "Contested 2015 Amendment") on the grounds that the Settler (Nancy) lacked the "legal capacity" to execute it having suffered from a series of "debilitating strokes" beginning in 2012. Further, the vulnerable, dependent Settler was subjected to under the influence in the procurement of the Contested 2015 Amendment by the Respondent - the Settler's favorite granddaughter, the now 20-year old Eilish K. Mellick. However, that same document also shows that Nancy restated her Trust in its entirety on December 14, 2011 ("Restated Trust"; Exhibit D). Under that 2011 Restated Trust, Nancy's son petitioner John T. Mellick is the named first successor trustee. After that, Nancy made no further, purported changes to her Trust until she challenged the July 8, 2015 Amendment (the "Contested 2015 Amendment"; Exhibit C).
However, when Nancy passed away May 25, 2016, this rendered any previous changes in her Trust irrevocable. As a result of her death her son John, should be now the sole acting successor trustee - not Eilish her granddaughter. In fact, soon after Nancy's died, John handled all of the arrangements for his mother's remains and began the process of sorting through Nancy's documents to administer the Trust in accordance with the terms of the Restated Trust. However, due to the re-issued will, the Contested 2015 Amendment names the Settler's (in this case Nancy being the settler), granddaughter Eilish as the successor trustee - not Nancy's son John, instead despite Eilish being the only 18-years of age at the time the changes to the document were made. The 2015 Amendment is skewed drastically in Eilish's favor, while completely disinheriting both Nancy's son John as well as her favorite charity The Christian Community.
