[NEWS] Jennifer's Heartfelt Message Amid the Coronavirus Crisis

Jennifer has used her social media platform via, Instagram, to publicly thank the dedicated doctors and nurses around the world who are working tirelessly around the clock to help fight the Coronavirus pandemic. She also shared a message with her 30.7-million followers to let them know she is thinking of them, and urges everyone to follow the advice of staying away from crowds, and to look out for the elderly.

Jennifer's message to doctors and nurses:

She included raising awareness to charities that need support more than ever, including Feed America and the American Red Cross. 

Jennifer's message to her followers:
jenniferaniston: This is a chaotic time... but remember the best thing we can do right now is stay informed, stay calm, and stay inside or away from crowds to help slow the spread of the virus. It's important to take it seriously so that we can keep others healthy ❤️ If you're young and healthy please remember social distancing is not just for you, it's to help everyone who is at risk or vulnerable. We need to work together! Be safe and spread the word...

The actress is a known resident of California, and on Monday March 16, the Governor Gavin Newsom declared that All California restaurants should close their doors to dine-in customers and gyms, cinemas and health clubs should also close for the time being.

He issued the following statement:

"Anyone 65 or older and anyone with chronic health conditions are to isolate themselves at home. Bars, nightclubs, wineries, brew-pubs and the like should close. All restaurants should halve their capacity and keep customers at least six feet from one another. There are no enforcement measures attached yet ⏤ but those could come if people do not adhere to the guidelines."

In California, as of Sunday afternoon, there had been six deaths linked to the virus. The state had 419 confirmed cases, according to data complied by The New York Times. Roughly 8,300 tests for the virus had been administered in California, and health officials are working to ramp up that number.

[NEWS] "The Morning Show" Shuts Down Production Amid Coronavirus Concerns

Multiple outlets have confirmed that the Apple TV+ series got the green light for a second season. However, as the Coronavirus continues to impact many, including Hollywood ⏤ production has ceased. The cast and crew including Jennifer, are taking a two-week hiatus out of concern for the virus. While no one on set is known to be sick or has tested positive, the shutdown is meant to be a precaution taken out of concern for those working on the show.

Producer Michael Ellenberg, found and CEO of MediaRes released the following statement:

"In concert with our dedicated partners at Apple, we have concluded it would be prudent to take a two-week hiatus to assess the situation and ensure the safety of the incredible people who make this show."
