[NEWS] Jennifer Set to Star in Film Adaption of Rosalind Wiseman's Queen Bee Moms & Kingpin Dads called 'Mean Moms'

Queen Bees & Kingpin Dads is a fictional novel by author Rosalind Wiseman originally published in January 30, 2007. It tells the tale of what happens when Queen Bees and Wannabes grow up. Even the most well-adjusted moms and dads can experience peer pressure as well as conflict with other adults that make them act like they're back in 7th grade. There are tales of hardworking parents with whom any of us can identify, along with tales of outrageously bad parents - the kind we all have to reckon with.

Mean Moms TEASER poster

The film adaption is titled Mean Moms and will be directed and written by Sean Anders; who's previously directed Aniston in (2013) We're the Millers and (2014) Horrible Bosses 2. Other writers credited include screenwriters Chad Gomez and Dara Resnick Creasy, Abby Kohn, John Morris and Marc Silverstein. Jennifer is set to play the queen bee mom who deals with being a happily married mother of two moving from small town American to the high class suburbs faced with confronting the cut throat world of competitive parenting. Mean Moms will tackle the issues of Why PTA meetings and Back-to-School nights tap into parents deepest insecurities. How to interpret the 'code phrases' other parents use to avoid or provoke confrontation. How to have respectful yet honest conversations with other parents about sex and drugs when your values are in conflict, and how the way you handle parties, risky behavior, and academic performances which could affect your child. A teaser poster for Mean Moms was released back in March 2015 causing media buzz. The fake poster featured actresses Jennifer Aniston, Sandra Bullock, and Cameron Diaz with the fake tagline: "Too Sassy for You". For months rumors spread regarding Jennifer's attachment to the project, but were dismissed as such. Later this year it was confirmed that Jennifer is on board with the project signing on after Sean Anders was set to direct sealing the deal. The project has been delayed and stuck in pre-production for months with the issue of struggles in casting. Mean Moms is due to be released in theaters in 2016.

Mean Girls
Queen Bees & Wannabes

Wiseman's novel's have successful come alive on the big screen before when Queen Bees and Wannabes was adapted into (2004) Mean Girls directed by Mike Waters starring actresses Lindsay Lohan, Rachel McAdams, and Tina Fey. It was a blockbuster hit grossing $129 million in box office doing well with critics who gave the film a generally positive review scoring an 83% liking with audiences and a critics consensus stating: "Mean Girls is funnier and more smartly written than the average teen comedy."

[NEWS] Jennifer Set to Star in the Film Adaption of Kevin Powers 'The Yellow Birds'

The Yellow Birds is fictional Guardian First Book award winning novel by author and Iraq war veteran Kevin Powers published September 6, 2012. [NEWS] 'The Wraps' Friends Comedy Sketch Has James Franco as Rachel Green

article by: Matt Donnelly

THE WRAP.com
"Actor James Franco plays the Emmy award winning role of Rachel Green;originally played by actress Jennifer Aniston, in a AOL comedy sketch of Friends. The sketch revolves around the gang: Monica, Phoebe, Rachel, Ross, Chandler, and Joey hanging out at Central Perk. The series popular theme song "I'll Be There For You" by The Rembrandts plays in the intro as the parody begins.

We open to Phoebe; originally played by Lisa Kudrow, singing "Smelly Cat" with her other friends joining in singing. Just then Ross; originally played by actor David Schwimmer, walks in informing his friends, "Listen, we have to be serious, okay? This is an intervention." James Franco, who's playing dual roles as both Rachel and food-lover/struggling actor Joey Tribianni; originally played by actor Matt Leblanc, assures Ross that they're all here for him. Rachel continues adding that they have to do it. They know it's going to be hard, but we all gotta do this and be strong for him okay? Phoebe and Chandler agree, and Rachel encourages Ross to get him. Ross exits off screen and the camera pans to James Franco as Joey, and an actress as Monica; originally played by Courteney Cox, showing their reactions.

Ross re-enters the shot and has returned with Marcell the monkey. Rachel greets Marcel with a friendly "Hi", as does the rest of the gang. Captions appear on screen for the monkey stating, "What is this sh*t? Is this a f*cking intervention?" The comedy sketch concludes with an actress dressed as Chandler Bing; originally played by Matthew Perry, replying sarcastically that it's just a really boring party. Seriously buddy, it's intervention time." The running gag on the NBC original series was that Chandler was 'gay' or feminine-like which frequently served as the butt of most jokes."

[NEWS] The One with 'The Rachel': Jennifer Talks Hair

article by: Samantha Lefave

REDBOOK magazine
"When you think of gorgeous hair that you wish you could replicate, you think Jennifer Aniston. She is a spokesperson for SEPHORA hair products and created her own line called 'Living Proof'. It just so happens that way, but after hearing how much she HATED the infamous 'Rachel' haircut because of how long it took to style, we were nervous. Why? Because though it sounds like Jen's low-maintenance when it comes to her hair, there's no what she really could be. Right? Wrong. The Friends alum recently revealed to Allure magazine that, while women around the world constantly dream of having Aniston-level hair in 15-minutes or less, she's actually doing it. Meaning, you can too. All you have to do is get a little dirty. Jennifer told Allure,

(2015) Allure magazine: Jennifer Aniston Hair Makeovers

"Yesterday it took me 15-minutes to get up, get my hair done, and go. I honestly just blow-dry it with my fingers around my hairline, and then I get the roots set, and then I'll let the rest of the hair air-dry."

Now, take what's missing in that explanation: A shower. Jennifer admitted,

"I'm very chill about washing my hair, and only shampoo every two of three days - longer if I can get away with it thanks to some help from dry shampoo."

Turns out that's a pretty smart strategy, too, according to dermatologists you don't need to suds up daily unless you have oily hair, live in a polluted city, or humid environment, or workout on a regular basis. But if your hairs is like Jen's - naturally wavy - and you want it to be straight, Jennifer says:

(2015) Jennifer Aniston and hairstylist Chris McMillan

"DONT' whip of the flat iron. Instead, keep the hair dryer in hand and pick up a big, round brush to style. I'll whip that out and get a really good arm workout at the same time."

Don't let this all lead you on to believe that Jennifer was always a professional when it came to styling her own hair. She admits that she needed some help in that department way back when she let longtime hairstylist Chris McMillan snip-away-and reveal 'The Rachel'.

(1994) Jennifer sporting 'The Rachel'

"Letting Chris cut my hair was just SO major. He was the first person to really give me a haircut, and he taught me how to actually take care of my hair. I admit it's the WORST thing to happen to my hair, but I don't REGRET it. It was great at the time, but it was a never-ending legacy for some reason. And it only lasted for about 6-months because it was just SO hard to do. I LOVED it, but I couldn't style it on my own. So Chris also just has that way of making me be completely reliant on him."

In other words, Jennifer is like the rest of us. While we may LOVE a certain style, sometimes there's just NO way we're going to keep it up. Live and learn."

[NEWS] Emirates Defends 'Snobbiest Ad Ever' featuring Jennifer Aniston

article by: Sky McCarthy

FOX NEWS.com
"Emirates is unapologetic about a controversial ad featuring a 'snooty' Jennifer Aniston as it continues to woo upscale business travelers in the U.S.

They issued the following statement:

"We couldn't think of anyone better suited for the role than Jennifer Aniston...Her professionalism and comedic timing talent shone on the set and we are very pleased with the outcome."

The ad shows Aniston, who is asleep on board the carrier's luxurious aircraft. Her dream quickly turns into a nightmare when she can't find the aircraft showers, decent snacks and the stand-up bar, and finds herself being mocked by the flight crew for her over-the-top requests. "This isn't an Emirates plane," a flight attendant for the unidentified domestic carrier responds. Jennifer wakes up to find the very amenities she was asking for in her dream on the Emirates A380 flight she's on. After the Dubai-based carrier posted the spot on YouTube last week, many criticized it for being quote, 'elitist' and called it the 'snobbiest ad EVER' for using Aniston to depict a service only a few can afford. But Emirates says that, "We have received an overwhelmingly positive response from the commercial and plan to come out with a new spot for the global campaign."

Boutros Boutros, Emirates SVP of Corporate Communications, Marketing & Brad told FoxNews.com via e-mail:

"In a departure from the usual airline industry ads, we chose to take a humorous approach to showcase the amazing product we offer on board," his statement continues adding, "We couldn't think of anyone BETTER suited for the role than Jennifer Aniston...Her professionalism and comedic talent shone on the set and we are VERY pleased with the outcome."

Boutros spoke on behalf of himself adding, "I'm NOT worried about the ad sparking controversy because passengers choose the airlines on which they fly. In comparison to the U.S. carriers, such as American Airlines, United Continental, and Delta Air Lines, I believe that Emirates provides a strong value proposition for American consumers with our award-wining on board services, as well as our convenient flights to destinations that are NOT served or served 'poorly' by the (U.S.) Legacy Carriers."

Aniston herself has not commented publicly on the controversy surrounding her new commercial, for which she nabbed a reported $5 million. FOXNews.com reached out to several representatives for the actress and are awaiting a comment. The 60-second clip has been viewed over a total of 3.8 million times since its October 5, 2015 debut online. It's received a 'thumbs down' rating for over a third of its votes and commenters have been quick to point out various problems with the commercial.

One YouTuber post reads:

"This ad disgusts me. How elitist can you be? You're basically saying if you can't afford to fly first class on Emirates, that your flying experience is a nightmare."

Others across social media have been quick to point out the exorbitant cost of a luxurious Emirates cabin - a round trip, First Class ticket from New York's John F. Kennedy to Dubai starts around $25,000. Aniston's ad also tweaks U.S. airlines at a time when they've been confronting Gulf carriers over charges of unfair competition. Delta, American and other U.S. carriers accuse Middle Eastern state airlines, including Emirates, Etihad and Qatar Airways, of receiving more than $42 billion in subsides since 2004, which they say, "Violates terms of the Open Skies Agreement" and ultimately, "Makes it MORE difficult for U.S. carriers to compete."

Airlines for America, the country's largest trade association that represents many major domestic carriers, would not comment directly on the new commercial but instead emphasized that:

"Fly in the U.S. today has NEVER been more affordable, with airfares down 3% domestically over the last year."

Spokeswoman Melanie Hinton said, "American commercial carriers are making a MAJOR investment in upgrades. U.S airlines are reinvesting on average $1.4 billion/month into the passengers experience offering plug-ins, Wi-Fi services and inflight entertainment on aircrafts, adding bigger, newer planes to their fleets as well as quality culinary dishes often created by local chefs," said Hinton. But in-flight showers still may be a LONG way off."

Let's not get ahead of ourselves...we're sure there's a perfectly good explanation as to why one of our favorite actresses is wearing nothing but a towel - simple: "she's HOT!" at least that what Jen's co-star Julia Roberts says.

[NEWS] The Theroux's Make Their First Red Carpet Debut

Justin & Jennifer at 'The Leftovers' season 2 premiere
article by: Jeff Nelson

PEOPLE magazine
"The now happily married couple - Jennifer Aniston, and her new husband screenwriter/actor Justin Theroux, made their first red carpet debut as a married couple while attending the premiere of HBO's The Leftovers as the series kicked off it's season premiere on October 4. Aniston and Theroux got back from Bora Bora almost two months ago, but they are still living in newlywed bliss. "We are VERY happy," said Jennifer. "They still act like their in the honeymoon phase," a source told PEOPLE. That's not to say they've been inseparable, though. Due to Theroux's busy schedule filming season two of his HBO drama/fantasy series The Leftovers in it's new location of Austin, Texas, the couple has had to live the first months of their marriage long-distance - something Justin said was, "Horrible, but absence appears to make the heart grow fonder. We are infatuated with each other," commented Theroux. An onlooker states, "They were close and cuddly on the red carpet, and Jen blew kisses to her husband as he did interviews."

[REVIEW] The Leftovers Season 2 Series Premiere Review

 article by: Jeff Labrecque

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY magazine
"If there was any doubt that season 2 of the HBO drama/fantasy series The Leftovers would have a very different vibe than last season, which faithfully mined novelist Tom Perrotta's dark 2011 novel, look no further than the new opening credits. Gone are the anguish-of-the-damned paintings and strings-heavy orchestral music. In their place are some random family photos of happier times, with at least one character silhouetted out to represent his or her departure, strung together by Iris DeMent's upbeat 1992 folk-spiritual, "Let the Mystery Be": "Some say once gone you're forever/And some say you're gonna come back/Some say you rest in the arms of the Savior/If in sinful ways you lack/Some say that they're comin' back in a garden/Bunch of carrots and little sweet peas/I think I'll just let the mystery be." In the Leftovers world, this new credits opener practically feels as chipper as "Don't Worry, Be Happy." The show's creators, Perrotta and Damon Lindelof, have teased that the show is also shifting away from Mapleton, New York, where Police Chief Kevin Garvey; actor/screenwriter Justin Theroux's character, lost his family in the aftermath of the baffling departure that evaporated 2% of the world's population. "Kevin might not be mentally stable," said Theroux regarding his character, "but he finished on a high note, reuniting with his daughter Jill; played by actress Margaret Qualley, and potentially piecing together a new family with girlfriend Nora; played by actress Carrie Coon, and the orphaned baby of Holy Wayne; actor Paterson Joseph's character, who died last season, the martyred prophet (or fraud).

The Leftovers season 2 episode "Axis Mundi"
It echoes the narrative of the first season, with Nora finding the baby, but it's also a warning, too: Whether it's a plume of smoke in the distance or the promise of a Texas town called Miracle, really bad things can happen between here and there, things even worse than the catastrophe you're trying to escape. Welcome to Miracle, formerly known as Jarden, Texas. Catching up with the Garveys and their extended clan will have to wait, as we get to know the new town, which has become a national shrine after zero of its 9,261 residents departed during the rapture. Is there something magical about the water? Is it the tobacco? Is it the tremors that rattle the town periodically? Whatever it is, it is an oasis that others seek, hence the park rangers who keep a close watch on the tourists who are bussed in to seek peace as well as understanding. In town, there's an Homnibus-looking vagrant who lives upon a town-square pillar, a literal axis mundi symbolizing the sacred door between the heavenly and the terrestrial. Just who are these Murphys? There a new family introduced in the series premiere including actors Regina King as Erika, actor Kevin Carroll as John, actor Jovan as Michael, and actress Jasmine as Evangeline "Evie". The new family quickly clashes with the Garveys: Kevin's a cop; John's a fireman, Kevin drinks; John's sober; Kevin's is a bad liar; John has served six plus years for attempted murder."

Tune in for the season next episode "A Matter of Geography" set to premiere Sunday, October 11, 2015 @ 9|8c p.m. check your local listings.
