[NEWS] Jennifer's Long Coveted Return to Television Is FINALLY Happening

It was announced earlier this year that Jennifer had a project in the works with fellow actress Reese Witherspoon, but after a while it seemed like a circulating rumor. We're here to tell you "speculate-NO-more!". It's been confirmed that Jennifer's and Reese's untitled television project has been picked up by Apple for two consecutive seasons. The series is set to be a dramatic interpretation that explores the behind-the-scenes action of daily mornings shows and its players. Both actresses will star as well as serve as executive produces for the series.

competitive streamers such as Netflix, Amazon & Hulu
It's a huge acquisition for Apple as it attempts to rival fellow streamers like Netflix, Amazon, and Hulu in the original programming space. Two of the three streamers have recently been recognized for their series including Netflix's 'The Handmaid's Tale' which won the Primetime Emmy award for Outstanding Drama Series, and Hulu's 'Black Mirror: "San Juniper" which won the Primetime Emmy award for Outstanding Television Movie. The untitled Aniston-Witherspoon drama series has already signed on crew members such as Michael Ellenberg serving as an executive producer, Jay Carson serving as a writer and show runner, and Brian Stelter who will serve as a consultant on the series.

(1994-2004) Friends
(2016) Big Little Lies
Neither Jennifer nor Reese are strangers to the small screen: Aniston was widely recognized as "America's sweetheart" for her work on NBC's sitcom 'Friends', which ran for 10-consecutive seasons nothing short of successful, as the spoiled-yet-lovable Rachel Green, earning her a (1996) Screen Actors Guild award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series, a (2002) Primetime Emmy award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series, and a (2003) Golden Globe for Best Lead Actress in a Television Series - Comedy or Musical; more recently Witherspoon has starred as Madeline Martha Mackenzie on HBO's drama/miniseries 'Big Little Lies' a successful adaptation of the novel by author Liane Moriarty, which earned Reese a Primetime Emmy award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Limited Series or Movie respectably losing to her co-star actress Nicole Kidman.
