[NEWS] What Does the New Year Hold for Jennifer?

Last year was a productive one for Jennifer. She finished filming drama/war film 'The Yellow Birds', released a new fragrance, and took heat from the media regarding her current and past marital status. Her current marital status was under public scrutiny regarding tabloid rumors that the couple were on the verge of divorce (which isn't true.) Jennifer and Justin rang in the new year by celebrating on vacation in Mexico. As for her past marital status, tabloids reopen an old wound by trying to drag Jennifer into ex-husband film actor Brad Pitt's divorce from his current ex-wife actress/director Angelina Jolie - with success: the tabloids claimed Aniston and Pitt entertained the idea of a reunion, but that didn't happened either.

After experiencing all of that what does the year 2018 have in store for Jennifer? We'll tell you - drama/war film 'The Yellow Birds', which Aniston completed filming last year, has finally gotten a release date Spring of 2018. This was confirmed by Saban Films president Bill Bromily who commented, "[director] Alexadre's style is so unique, he has created a visual che-d'oeuvere with the film. The performances are emotional and revelatory to those directly impacted by the tolls of war. We're honored to bring the film to wider audiences." The film had previously been released during the 2017 Sundance Film Festival, and screened during the Deauville Film Festival, Hamptons International Film Festival, American Film Festival and the Gold Coast International Film Festival.

The actresses long awaited return to television has also been confirmed. She stated in an earlier interview in 2017 of her return to the small screen, "If I could, 'Yes', I would. I've thought about it a lot. That's where the work is. That's where the quality is. At this point in my career, I want to be part of wonderful stories, exciting characters, and also just having a good time." Apple TV has picked up two season for the 'Untitled Aniston/Witherspoon Television Project'. The series plot revolves around the makings of a morning show consisting of ten episodes per season, but is still in pre-production and has yet to set a premiere date. Jennifer will also serve as an executive producer along with her co-star actress Reese Witherspoon. Jennifer's expressed her desire to stay in one place, "In television you film on a lot, but with film you go on location and travel a great distance. Now it's really about wanting to stay closer to home and just enjoying your time. It goes really fast. The experience needs to be a good experience. I have no time for the yelling, angry directors, or bad behavior anymore," she said of shooting film versus television.

Whatever Jennifer pursues this year we wish her the best of luck in all her endeavors.
