[NEWS] Jennifer Reunites with Adam Sandler for Netflix 'Murder Mystery'
The dynamic duo of Aniston and Sandler are back! She is re-teaming with him having previously worked with him on the romantic comedy 'Just Go with It' (2011). The plot of their upcoming Netflix comedy 'Murder Mystery' follows a New York City cop played by Sandler as he finally takes his wife played by Aniston on a long-promised European trip. A chance meeting on the flight gets them invited to an intimate family gathering on the super-yacht of elderly billionaire Millionaire Quince. When Quince is murdered, the couple become the prime suspects in this modern day whodunit. The script comes from screenwriter James Vanderbilt whose notable writing credits include mystery-thriller film 'Zodiac' (2007), action/comedy comic book film 'The Losers' (2010), action/adventure comic book film 'The Amazing Spider-Man' sequels (2012, 2014) and political-action/thriller film 'White House Down' (2013). 'Murder Mystery' continues Adam's relationship with Netflix, where the comedian has had an exclusive production deal (he previously starred in 'The Ridiculous 6' in 2015, 'The Do-Over' in 2016, 'Sandy Wexler' in 2017 and 'The Meyerowitz Stories' 2017), however, this marks Jennifer's first Netflix project. During an interview while promoting 'Just Go with It' the Adam and Jennifer promised us another project featuring the two of them and now it comes to us 7-years later in the form of a streaming film.
