[NEWS] Outlets Falsley Claim, "Jennifer Casually Dating After Split from Justin Theroux"

Gossip Cop is cracking down on the latest tabloid trash regarding the recent circulating headline that Jennifer is Casually Dating After Split from Justin Theroux. Multiple outlets including Us Weekly magazine, Star magazine and even ET (Entertainment Tonight) have falsely claimed in reports that the actress is casually dating after her split from ex-husband screenwriter/actor Justin Theroux. The only question is Real or Rumor? Has Aniston jumped back in the dating pool like so many outlets claim? RUMOR! Gossip Cop has confirmed that the celebrity news business has gone into high drive with a ton of stories [the majority of them false] regarding the couples separation, and the only thing all of these stories have in common are lack specifics or proof.

US Weekly magazine: "Jen Finds Love Again"
US Weekly magazine cover falsely claimed the following: that she is dating two men at the same time. NOT TRUE. The article is vague maintaining that one boyfriend is a "tech titan introduced to Aniston by a close friend." This invites a tone of questions! For starters what's his name? What tech business is he involved with? And which alleged 'close friend' made the match? Was it Courteney Cox? Doubtful! The second man was nebulously described by US Weekly as "an industry creative." Once again, questions! Is he an agent, manager, producer, writer, director? What does Aniston like specifically about this 'creative guy'? Does she prefer the unnamed "industry creative" over the equally untraceable "tech titan"? Naturally, the tabloid, which is a sister publication of the National Enquirer and Globe, among others, has NO answers to any of those basic questions when reached for a comment that a respectable outlet should have before splashing it on a cover and calling it news.

ET: "Jennifer Aniston Is 'Casually Dating' After Split From Justin Theroux"
It's precisely this non-transparency, which plagues celebrity journalism, that seemingly led to an equally uninformative ET (Entertainment Tonight) article that declared the same thing - she's casually dating. In that story, an unidentified "source" is quoted as saying, "Jennifer has never felt she needed a man, but she loves love." Does that REALLY offer any insight into Aniston or is that actually more a statement about millions of strong, independent women? ET even went to the extremity of covering their tracks for when the actress is not seen on the arm of a man anytime soon, the "source" adds, "Jennifer is casually dating, but right now nothing serious."

Jennifer & Justin's Associated Press News separation announcement, "Whatever else is printed about us that is not directly from us, is someone else's fictional narrative."
A representative for the actress released the following statement regarding the rumors, "Not one of the articles that's been published about Jennifer mentions who she's dating, where they've supposedly gone out, or precisely who introduced her to her 'new man' or 'men'. The answer is simple: None of these outlets have any particular insight. They're just spitting out generalities about her and the universal desire to love or be loved. The reality is Jennifer isn't a fan of dating, although like most people she does believe in love and spending her life with someone. She is doing fine since her split with Justin, been busy occupying her time with work, and has a great support system of friends."
