[AWARDS] Jennifer Get Snubbed at the Teen Choice awards

Jennifer was a nominee in the 'Best Lead Actress in a Comedy' category for her performance as Sandy in the ensemble comedy/holiday film 'Mother's Day'. She lost to fellow actress Chloe Grace Moretz for her performance as Shelby in comedy film 'Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising'. The 17th Annual Teen Choice award ceremony took place in Inglewood, California at the The Form theater and was hosted by actress/singer Victoria Justice and professional wrestler John Cena.

'The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2' won three of its six Teen Choice award nominations including Best Lead Actress of the Year in a Sci-Fi/Fantasy Movie awarded to actress Jennifer Lawrence for her performance as Katnis Everdeen, Best Movie Liplock awarded to actress Jennifer Lawrence and actor Josh Hutcherson for their performance as Katnis Everdeen and Peeta Mellark, and Best Movie Scene Stealer awarded to actress Jena Malone for her performance as Johnanna Mason. 'Captain American: Civil War' won two of its eight Teen Choice award nominations including Best Sci-Fi/Fantasy Movie of the Year, and Best Lead Actor of the Year in a Sci-Fi/Fantasy Movie awarded to actor Chris Evans for his performance as Steve Rogers/Captain America. 'Deadpool' won two of its six Teen Choice award nominations including Best Action Movie of the Year, and Best Movie Hissy Fit awarded to actor/comedian Ryan Reynolds for his performance as Wade Wilson/Deadpool. 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' won two of its six Teen Choice award nominations including Best Movie Villain awarded to actor Adam Driver for his performance as Kylo Ren, and Best Breakout Movie Star awarded to actress Daisy Ridley for her performance as Rey. 'Suicide Squad' won two of its five Teen Choice award nomination including AnTEENcipated Movie of the Year, and AnTEENcipated Movie Actress of the Year awarded to actress Cara Delevingne for her performance as June Moone/Enchantress.

'Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials' won two of its four Teen Choice award nominations including Best Lead Actor of the Year in an Action Movie awarded to actor Dylan O'Brien for his performance as Thomas, and Best Movie Chemistry awarded to actors Thomas Brodie-Sangster and Dylan O'Brien for their performances as Thomas and Newt. 'Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising' won two of its four Teen Choice award nominations including Best Lead Actor in a Comedy Movie awarded to actor Zac Efron for his performance as Teddy Sanders, and Best Lead Actress in a Comedy Movie awarded to actress Chloe Grace Moretz for her performance as Shelby. 'Finding Dory' won both of its Teen Choice award nominations including Best Summer Movie of the Year, and Best Female Summer Movie Star awarded to comedienne/actress Ellen DeGeneres for her performance as Dory. 'The Divergent Series: Allegiant' won the Teen Choice award for Best Lead Actress of the Year in an Action Movie awarded to actress Shailene Woodley for her performance as Beatrice "Tris" Prior. 'Miracles from Heaven' won the Teen Choice award for Best Drama Movie of the Year. 'The Revenant' won the Teen Choice award for Best Lead Actor of the Year in a Drama Movie awarded to actor Leonardo DiCaprio for his performance as Hugh Glass. 'Joy' won the Teen Choice award for Best Lead Actress of the Year in a Drama Movie awarded to actress Jennifer Lawrence for her performance as Joy Mangano. 'Ride Along 2' won the Teen Choice award for Best Comedy Movie of the Year. 'Central Intelligence' won the Teen Choice award for Best Male Summer Movie Star awarded to actor/comedian Kevin Hart for his performance as Calvin "Golden Jet" Joyner. 'Deepwater Horizon' won the Teen Choice award for AnTEENcipated Movie Actor of the Year awarded to actor Dylan O'Brien for his performance as Caleb Holloway.
