Top of the Morning' will serve as Apple TV's first major show. This will be Jennifer's coveted return to television, but technically the series will be streamed so she's new to the world of web series.

Top of the Morning' is based off the novel by author Brian Stelter, revolving around the cutthroat world of morning shows. It will give us an inside look at the lives of the people who help America wake up in the morning, while exploring the unique challenges faced by the men and women who carry out the daily televised ritual.
Aniston will star alongside actress Reese Witherspoon and actor/comedian Steve Carell. She and Witherspoon are also serving as executive producers for the series. Recently actors Billy Crudup (2000 '
Almost Famous'; 2008 '
Watchmen'), and Mark Duplass (2012-17 '
The Mindy Project'; 2012 '
Safety Not Guaranteed') along with actress Bel Powley (2015 '
The Diary of a Teenage Girl') were added to the cast.
The series is already one of the most anticipated shows of the year, but with no set release date '
Top of the Morning' is looking at a possible summer 2019 block. Apple TV has already ordered 20 episodes expected for a two season run with 10 episodes per season. Pay negotiations have already been settled: Aniston being paid a hefty salary of $12.5-million to return to television, which translates to $1,250,000 per-episode.
