[NEWS] Jennifer's Shoots Scenes for New Apple Series

March 24, 2019 the actress was spotted on location in Los Angeles, California shooting scenes for her new series. Jennifer Aniston fans your prolonged wait is FINALLY over ⏤ in regards to her returning to television, but does it technically count since the series will be streamed? For those of you who've been following this kind of thing, she made a deal with Apple TV to appear in a dramatic series (yet to be titled, but lately it's just gone by "Untitled Morning Show Drama" or some have been calling it "Top of the Morning").

A veteran in comedy having spent a decade on the sitcom Friends, which earned her an Emmy (2002) and a Golden Globe (2003) for Best Actress, and a hefty salary of $1-million per-episode after contract negotiations making her one of the highest-paid actresses in television. In later years she broke out in films ⏤ mostly rom-coms, opposite some of Hollywood's funniest leading men, with great box office success. Now in this untitled series it gives her another chance to try out her dramatic chops ⏤ her character is a news correspondent who goes behind the scenes on early morning television.

Aniston is no stranger to drama having wide critical-acclaim for two of her indie films The Good Girl (2002), and more recently 'Cake' (2015). 'The Good Girl' earned her praise with critics call her performance "a breakout" from her 'Friends' image. With 'Cake' her performance laid down the foundation for her as a serious actress earning recognition for the Screen Actors Guild and Hollywood Foreign Press Association who nominated her for Best Actress at the SAG and Golden Globes; however, she lost both accolades respectively to actress Julianne Moore for her performance in 'Still Alice'.

Jennifer will star opposite Oscar-winning actress Reese Witherspoon and the pair will also serve as executive producers for the series, which has already had been ordered for 2-season with 10-episodes per season. The series will also star actor/comedian Steve Carell, who is also no stranger to the small-screen having starred on 'The Office', and previously worked with Aniston in 'Bruce Almighty' (2003), but didn't share any scenes with Jennifer. Overall she is excited about returning to television, but will her fans and other viewers be excited that she's switching genres, from comedy to drama?
