VARIETY
Aniston, Bullock, and Diaz oh my! Jennifer Aniston is known for being everybody's favorite Friend, Sandra Bullock is an Oscar winning actress, and Cameron Diaz is the hottest model ever to breakout into acting. What do you get when you take three of America's Sweetheart's in their own rights, band them together, and shove them all in front of a camera..."Mean Moms"? New Line Cinema confirmed to Variety that Aniston, who has been in talks for the film Mean Moms for over a year, is still attached to star in the upcoming movie. Meanwhile, the rumors of fellow actresses and pals of Jen - Sandra Bullock and Cameron Diaz, are purely figments of the Internets imagination and have not been confirmed by the studio or their personal representatives. A fake poster for the flick has circulated on social media over the last few days suggesting that Aniston, Bullock, and Diaz would star in it. It's been well over a decade since Jen has worked with Diaz; the two have previously starred in '96s Edward Burns film She's the One. Bullock and Aniston have only recently been pals, but have been acquainted for a number of years. The three of them have been searching for a project they can all work on together. Aniston has been quoted in an earlier interview saying, "We've all been hoping to work together, but in the past we've had schedule conflicts so if it happens it happens, if it doesn't it doesn't. No big deal." Some of the social media posts also claim, "Mean Moms is sequel to the actress Lindsay Lohan's 2004 flick Mean Girls," which was a Paramount Picture, whereas Mean Moms, plot line revolves around the world of competitive parenting, and is being produced by New Line Cinema. Both films are, however, based on novels by author Rosalind Wiseman. New Line is currently looking for a director to take on the project, and has not officially announced a released date for the film. Jennifer is currently promoting her upcoming rom-com/drama film She's Funny That Way in theaters April 10. Sandra is currently finishing loaning her voice for the spin-off of Despicable Me's, Minions as the voice of Scarlet Overkill. Cameron Diaz is on a well-deserved career hiatus enjoying the married life with husband Benji Madden.
