[NEWS] Justin Explains Where His Wife Was During the Golden Globes

Justin went stag to the 74th Annual Golden Globe awards, where he served as a co-presenter. He didn't show up to the red carpet just the ceremony - but neither did his wife actress Jennifer Aniston. So - where was Jennifer? Theroux sasy, "It's the first time I've come to the show and have not done the red carpet," he explained to 'Entertainment Tonight' reporter Nischelle Turner during the HBO after-party, "I just came to present, so I kind of did the dumb thing where I just showed up to present, and you kind of get rushed into the back door."

He continued adding, "And you're not really prepared for he size of the event, and all the energy in the room. So I kind of came in and was not prepared. There's a benefit to walking and sitting down, having some food, and then continuing on." When asked who his date was for the night he said he was dateless and ready to head home to Jennifer. "I'm actually trying to get home. I almost skipped this interview because I got my girl and some friends in their pajamas who have delayed the show an hour so I can get back and watch the end of it with them"

Could the real reason the actress didn't show was because her exes were in the same room thus wanting to avoid awkwardness? Aniston's exes who showed a the Golden Globes including her ex-boyfriend actor/comedian Vince Vaughn, and ex-husband film actor Brad Pitt. Vaughn co-starred in the action/war film 'Hacksaw Ridge', which was nominated for three Golden Globes that night, and introduced the clip for the film. Pitt introduced the clip for the drama film 'Moonlight', which won the Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture Drama of the Year. Brad even received applause for his surprise appearance.
