The tabloid magazine claims that even months after Jennifer's mother's death, former model/actress Nancy Dow - who passed away May 25, 2016 from health complications due to suffering from two severe strokes back-to-back - she is now reaching out to her ex-husband film actor Brad Pitt. The article says that Jen is still reeling from the loss of her estranged mother - and the bereavement has apparently brought her closer to a familiar face none other than her ex-husband Brad. The supposed source further claims, "That even though Jen worked through the heartbreak with the help of therapy, it's all coming back to haunt her - and she's turned to ex-husband for help during this 'emotionally' complicated time."

The alleged source continues adding, "She's been looking to [Brad] for guidance and advice," a source told In Touch exclusively. "Her current husband screenwriter/actor Justin Theroux, is trying to help," claims the source but apparently Brad understands Jennifer better than anyone else. The source added, "Jen needs Brad more than ever right now." The article continues to explain the apparent reason that Brad is Jen's only hope is because he was there when things fell apart between Jennifer and her late mother - including the ordeal that led to her and her mother's estrangement when Nancy sold a story about Brad and Jennifer's engagement to a tabloid television series.

The source added, "Brad knows the history of Jen's complicated relationships with Nancy and doesn't judge her for the feelings she's having," the source continues. Supposedly Brad pointed out that Jen didn't love her mom, which is false because in a recently interview with Marie Claire magazine Jennifer said, "We [me and my mother] NEVER stopped loving each other" despite their estrangement. The source alleges that she [Jennifer] is still mourning the loss of her mother she would never know. Jen was apparently "deeply" touched and realized he [Brad] was apparently right in regards to the fact that Jennifer supposedly "never" loved her mom.

The source further claims that Jen has continued to come to terms with many facets of her life - including the fact that her childhood wasn't as traumatic as she remembers it, or the fact that Brad is much more "evolved" than the person she married all those years ago. And the "new" Brad, the source explains, has been "tremendously helpful" since he first reached out to Jen following Nancy's passing. Understandably, The alleged source concludes Jennifer's thankful to have this newer, more mature Brad by her side as she works through her "most difficult and testing times" - she is SO grateful to have him back in her life," the source gushes.
