"Leslie Mann has replaced Jennifer as the female lead in 'The Comedian' opposite Oscar winning actor Robert De Niro. Aniston had joined the Cinelou Film project, set to be directed by Taylor Hackford from Art Linson's script, in November. However, Jennifer departed due to scheduling issues. Cinelou partners Courtney Solomon and Mark Canton will finance the film. Principal photography has been on hold, but will begin in New York shortly. Of Mann replacing Aniston,

Mann plays a character who befriends an acerbic stand-up comic played by De Niro - after they unexpectedly connect at a wedding. Leslie stars in the upcoming 'How to Be Single' alongside actresses Dakota Johnson and Rebel Wilson, and appeared in 'This Is 40', 'Knocked Up', and 'The 40-Year-Old Virgin'."
