"A year after earning critical recognition for her powerful performance in the indie drama 'Cake', Jennifer Aniston has signed onto another project that sounds like it could be a fascinating showcase for her dramatic acting talents. Deadline reports on Thursday that Aniston will play Denise White, a real-life Miss U.S.A. contestant who has since become one of the only female sports managers in the N.F.L. Denise White seemed to confirm the news Thursday, retweeting casting reports and replying to congratulations on her personal Twitter feed.

White made headlines in 2014 as the subject of a Men's Journal profile, titled 'The Women Who Bails Out the N.F.L.'s Bad Boys." In the piece, write Paul Solotaroff chronicles White's life from her placement in foster homes - as the neglected daughter of a mentally unstable single mother - to her career essentially parenting troubled sports players whom larger agencies refuse to take on. Perhaps the most enticing quote from the magazine profile, however, comes when White herself, and references the 2009 drama 'The Blind Side', for which actress Sandra Bullock famously won her Oscar for Best Lead Actress. "You know, people made a fuss about 'The Blind Side' kid, like he was a one-of-a-kind deal," White said. "Well, 90% of my clients are 'The Blind Side' kid and need every bit of mothering they can get." Now if only Academy voters will feel the same way about Aniston's blind side tale as they did Bullock's..."

In addition to scoring lucrative sponsorship deals for her clients (including Jared Allen, Brandon Marshall and DeSean Jackson), she also works overtime to extricate them from all manner of crises including paternity claims, expensive entourage members, and drug and sexual-assault allegations. Former Falcons player Ephraim Salaam told the magazine, "She's the world's most expensive babysitter, because some dudes keep repeating childish things...And trust me when I tell you, she steps to them strong, but there's that handful of guys who don't hear it first time out. Or the third or fourth time, either." Deadline reports that FOX 2000 acquired a film pitch from Melisa Wallack, whose 'Dallas Buyers Club' script won its two stars actor's Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto dual Oscars for Best Lead and Supporting.
