[AWARDS] Jennifer Get's Snubbed at the Critic's Choice

Jennifer at the 20th Annual Critic's Choice awards
The actress was a nominee in the category of 'Best Lead Actress of the Year in a Drama movie' for her performance in 'Cake' and lost to fellow actress Julianne Moore for her performance in 'Still Alice'. Jennifer didn't show signs of being a sore loser when presenter actor Patrick Stewart announced the recipient. The award ceremony took place in Hollywood, California at the Hollywood Palladium and was hosted by Michael Strahan. Jennifer was accompanied by her fiance screenwriter/actor Justin Theroux on the red carpet and he also sat with her at her table. It is unclear as to why Brad Pitt wasn't present at the ceremony even though he was a nominee in the category 'Best Lead Actor of the Year in an Action movie' for his performance in 'Fury', however, Angelina Jolie was present as a nominee for 'Best Director of the Year' for her work in 'Unbroken', but Jolie sat at a separate table from Aniston and Theroux who were just across the way. If it's any consolation Jolie was snubbed as well who lost to director Richard Linklater for 'Boyhood'. Jennifer's good friend and 'Rumor Has It..' co-star actor Kevin Costner was honored with the Lifetime Achievement award, and Aniston's enthused look was shown on camera as he gave his acceptance speech. So far Jennifer has been snubbed at the Golden Globes, and at the Critic's Choice and the she was also snubbed as an Oscar nominee. The Academy award nominees were announced earlier today and Aniston was not announced as one of the nominees in the category for 'Best Lead Actress'. Maybe there's hope that she'll be a presenter at the Oscars just as she was the previous year. Well, there's always the Screen Actors Guild awards which Aniston is nominated for 'Outstanding Lead Actress of the Year' hopefully she'll win that award.
