[COMING SOON] Opening This Week in Box Office 'Cake' and MORE!

Opening this week Cake is coming to a theater near you along with some other films:

Cake
(Cake)
Genre: Drama
Starring: Jennifer Aniston, Sam Worthington, Anna Kendrick, Adriana Barraza, Felicity Huffman, William H. Macy, Chris Messina, Lucy Punch, Mamie Gummer, Julio Oscar Mechoso
Plot: A woman becomes fascinated by the suicide of a woman in her chronic pain support group while grappling with her own, very raw personal tragedy.
Why Watch: Cake is a great example of Aniston's wide range of acting abilities proving she is more than just comical. She conveys a different side of herself with this darkly amusing dramatic role and you not only feel what she feels; which is genuine chronic pain, but you also see it as well due to her dramatic change in her physical appearance.
Tagline: "Forgiveness is a bitter pill to swallow."

FILM TRAILER

Mortdecai
(Mortdecai)
Genre: Action | Comedy
Starring: Johnny Depp, Gwyneth Paltrow, Ewan McGregor, Paul Bettany, Olivia Munn, Jeff Goldblum
Plot: Juggling angry Russians, the British Mi5, and an international terrorist, debonair art dealer and part time rouge Charlie Mortdecai races to recover a stolen painting rumored to contain a code that leads to lost Nazi gold.
Why Watch: Just because his hair is dyed blond and he speaks in a funny accent doesn't mean he's not Johnny Depp. He's hilarious as ever in this new role with funny one-liners, physical comedy and provides us with even more laughs opposite of Paltrow when she has to act disgusted each time she plants one on him. (No easy task considering Depp is a desirable man to most woman.)
Tagline: "Sophistication has a name."

Strange Magic
(Strange Magic)
Genre: Animation | Family | Fantasy
Starring: Alan Cumming, Evan Rachel Wood, Kristin Chenoweth, Maya Rudolph
Plot: Goblins, elves, fairies and imps, and their misadventures sparked by the battle over a powerful potion
Why Watch: Strange Magic is exactly that, it has comedy, brawls, and musical numbers, and it's an action pack film that will have you laughing and singing along that makes it fun for the whole family.
Tagline: "Everyone deserves to be loved."

The Boy Next Door
(The Boy Next Door)
Genre: Thriller
Starring: Jennifer Lopez, Ryan Guzman, Kristin Chenoweth, John Corbett
Plot: A newly divorced woman falls for a younger man who has recently moved in across the street from her, but their torrid affair soon takes a dangerous turn.
Why Watch: Lopez doesn't play a very challenging role, but she was cast alongside a newcomer who displays just as much sex appeal as she does. If you can get past the hot-heavy affair scenes this film cleans itself up at the end.
Tagline: "A moment she couldn't resist, an obsession he can't control."

FILM TRAILER

Black Sea
(Black Sea)
Genre: Adventure | Thriller
Starring: Jude Law, Scoot McNairy, Ben Mendelson
Plot: In order to make  good with his former employers, a submarine captain takes a job with a shadowy backer to search the depths of the Black Sea for a submarine rumored to be loaded with gold.
Why Watch: Jude Law holds the screen with some pretty captivating moments. It's full of adventure and that's also where most of the thrills happen taking place under water. The further the crew journeys into the sea the more each member begins to question their allegiance, which causes paranoia, acts of betrayal, and trust issues.
Tagline: "Brave the deep, find the gold, trust no one."

FILM TRAILER
