[AWARDS] Jennifer Gets Snubbed at the Golden Globes

Jennifer at the 72nd Annual Golden Globes.
Aniston was a nominee in the category 'Best Lead Actress in a Drama film' for her performance in upcoming indie/drama film 'Cake' during the 72nd Annual Golden Globe awards last Sunday. She made her red carpet appearance with her fiance screenwriter/actor Justin Theroux, spoke with the media press, and even made an unannounced and unplanned presentation of an award as a co-presenter with fellow actor Benedict Cumberbatch. However, when it came time to announce the winner in her category the actress got snubbed! She lost to fellow actress Julianne Moore for her performance in 'Still Alice'. This was Aniston's first nomination for a film role, but her third nomination since Jennifer starred on a little sitcom called 'Friends'. On that note, I think we can all agree she looked gorgeous on the red carpet. She made one thing clear while on the red carpet: "I'm NOT letting the pressure of attending the awards show as a nominee get me down," said the actress in an interview on the red carpet with Carson Daly, "it's been a pretty zen year - and thankfully," she added, "who wants to be crazy and stressed out on a day like this? I feel like a kid! I'm so excited!" The 'Cake' actress showed off her playful side a few moments later when she jokingly grabbed fellow actress Kate Hudson's rear end as she approached Ryan Seacrest for an E! interview just as he was wrapping up his chat with Hudson. "Look at this," said Aniston, with a grin as she showed Hudson's assets to the world, "Irresistible!" Once all the celebrities were seated inside the Beverly Hills Hilton Hotel the ceremony began. Actresses/Comedienne's Tina Fey and Amy Poehler co-hosted the ceremony for their third and final time. Their comedic timing never failed as they had the entire audience laughing. Jennifer, along with the other nominees, waited patiently for their category to be announced, and several categories later actor Matthew McConaughey announced the 'Best Lead Actress in a Drama film' with the lucky recipient Julianne Moore being awarded. Aniston didn't let not winning get her down. Sources say she was one the life's-of-the-party when it came time for the Golden Globes after party. Jennifer, because you made such a gracious looser, you're a winner in our book. That's why we love you.
