The question is Jennifer's newly sober ex-husband in love with her again? Real or Rumor? RUMOR! In Touch claims the pair had a tearful moment that changed everything, Jen's shocking reaction, and that his vengeful current ex-wife actress/director Angelina Jolie, is supposedly waging a new war on him because of it all. An alleged "source" told the tabloid that Pitt recently called his ex-wife to make amends as part of the recovery process.

"Brad expressed remorse for causing the break-up of their marriage," the source claims, "he also admitted his long-held guild over the pain he'd put her through." The outlet's dubious insider goes on to say, "Jennifer both forgave him as well as opened up about how much his honest words meant to her," and the source further claims, " the conversation that took place between Pitt and Aniston prompted him to question, 'If I would have left you for [Angelina Jolie] if I hadn't been so dependent on alcohol and drugs back then." The questionable article further claims that Brad said, "I now believe that leaving you for Angie was the biggest mistake of my life," adding, "I am in love with you," like his fans, friends and loved ones supposedly claims, "I feel I never should have broken up with you 12-years ago. You will always be the love of my life," however, this is simply not true because the actor claimed nor said no such thing.

Gossip Cop has already recently busted a similar report by Life & Style magazine, when it wrongly reported earlier this month that Pitt apologized to Aniston. A representative for the actor assured us, "He [Brad] NEVER called his ex-wife [Jennifer] to ask for her forgiveness," meaning that this flawed follow-up story revolves around a phone call that NEVER took place. Regardless we contacted Pitt's representative for a new statement on the latest tabloid trash that claims he's still in love with his married ex-wife, the representative assured us with the following statement "Total nonsense." It has been made clear before that Jennifer isn't seeking an apology from her ex-husband because she doesn't need one nor is seeking one out, and is happily married to her current husband screenwriter/actor Justin Theroux. All in all this latest cover story from the unreliable outlet of In Touch magazine is equally untrue."
