"With help from Gossip Cop reporter Andrew Shuster we're cracking down on the latest tabloid trash reported by Life & Style magazine who claims Jennifer's ex-husband, film actor Brad Pitt, says the newly sober actor recently made amends with her as part of his recovery. The only question is real or rumor? Did Brad finally give Jennifer the long-over-due apology she deserves after all these years? RUMOR! A supposed "source" told Life & Style, Pitt said, "I called her to address all the hurt I caused her and also apologized for not being the husband Jen deserved," which Gossip Cop can confirm as false. The outlet's dubious insider goes on the say, "Brad further expressed his long-held guilt over what he'd put her through," adding, "Jennifer was really won over by his apology," which has supposedly resulted in the beginning of "a new era" for the two. This is also NOT true. A trustworthy source close to Pitt exclusively assured Gossip Cop, "He didn't call his ex-wife to ask her forgiveness. Albeit they have been exchanging friendly texts in recent months, but the magazine's story about a fawning apology simply isn't true."
