[NEWS] 'The Yellow Birds' EIFF Screening Cancelled

(2017) 70th Annual Edinburgh International Film Festival

Originally suppose to be screened during the 70th annual Edinburgh International Film Festival June 30, 2017, 'The Yellow Birds' has been pulled from the line-up as the film is not yet ready to be released.

The EIFF recently reported the cancellation on their official website. Reasons for the delayed film release are unknown. Principal photography on the film began in October 2015 in Morocco, and wrapped up January 29, 2016.

'The Yellow Birds' even received a nomination from the EIFF Film Festival for the Audience award nominee director Alexandre Moors, but we're unsure if this nomination will be revoked since the film is no longer apart of the festival.
