The Gong Show' aired yesterday on ABC, with guest judges actor/comedian Will Arnett, actress, Jennifer Aniston, and actor/comedian Jack Black. The actress avoided what Black describes as, "Almost fatal accident after a large padded dart I threw on the set missed Jennifer by mere inches as it was coming down."

When Jack decided to call an end to an act by heaving a large dart toward the gong, which ricocheted off the gong, nearly hitting Jennifer as it landed on the stage.

"I tossed the object to cease a piano act," he explains, "and Jennifer's back was turned as it came crashing down. I immediately checked with her when it hit the ground to make sure she was alright. It almost ended tragically."

To which Aniston said, "My life just almost ended," Black added, "the landing dart almost took Jennifer's head off. Thank God that didn't go the way it seemed like it was going to."
